Navigating SongPop - A Quick Guide

Welcome to SongPop! We hope you enjoyed your first experience with us during the tutorial. This article will go into more detail about things you may have missed or have questions on. We’ll also include links to more in-depth articles. 

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact our customer support through the app in Settings > Report an Issue.

Navigating SongPop

• There are five tabs in SongPop from left to right: Music, Shop, Home, Chat, Profile

• MUSIC:
• This is where all our playlists can be found. You can see your recently played playlists, saved playlists, recommended and more! (More information below)
• SHOP
• This is where you can purchase powerups, customization items, diamonds and more!

• HOME
• This is the main screen with access to all our different game modes! You’ll be able to start a new game and by scrolling horizontally above the “new game” button you’ll see some additional features (please click on the links for more information):
• Tuneology
• Tournaments
• Live Shows
• Achievements
• Current Festivals
• At the top of the screen you have access to your level (including rewards and features chart) on the left, and on the right you have access to our monthly pass (including missions, rewards, and leaderboard)!
• CHAT
• This is where you’ll be able to (please click on the links for more information):
• Chat with your friends
• Chat with and/or join a team
• Add Friends
• Send a Live 1v1 game (more information below)
• Share songs
• Send stickers
• PROFILE
• Your Profile is where you’ll be able to see (please click on the links for more information):
• All your display information
• Achievements
• Your player stats
• Customization options (more info below)

Linking your Account to SongPop Classic

• If you’re a Classic player trying SongPop–Welcome! Linking your account to SongPop is simple. 
• We ask that you begin by ensuring you are logged into the accounts you wish to link in both apps. To start the process, please open your Classic app and go into Settings > Account Settings > Linked SongPop account and then tap “Link Account”

SongPop PLUS

• SongPop PLUS is our premium subscription offered to SongPop players. You can upgrade to SongPop PLUS in the store tab for $9.99 USD and can also try it out for free for 7 days!

Playlists

• You can access available playlists by navigating to the music tab. When you've navigated to the music tab you will be presented with several types of playlists, including ones recently updated with new music, your most recently played lists and your saved playlists. Similarly, you will see your saved artists, SongPop's recommendations for you, your furthest advanced lists, and new lists that will be coming soon!

Customization Items

• You can customize your profile with Vinyls and Frames and share stickers with players in chat and in game! (Please click on the links for more information)
• Vinyls change the look of your app
• Frames are displayed with your profile picture and are seen throughout the app
• You can apply these items by scrolling down your profile and tapping on Vinyls or Frames and then tapping on your desired item!

Live 1v1

• Live 1vs1 can also be initiated via the in-game chat menu. When in a chat panel with a player, click the “vs” icon to challenge or accept a Live 1vs1 match.
• If you are challenged to a Live 1vs1, the challenge will appear on your home screen where regular game modes are found. Live games are denoted by a green button.
