You can now connect your SongPop Classic (formerly SongPop 2) and SongPop (formerly SongPop 3) together. In order to do this, you need to already have an account created in each of the games!
In order to connect your 2 accounts, you will need:
- Both apps (SongPop Classic and SongPop) downloaded to the latest version.
- an account on the SongPop app (you will need to create a new account on the new SongPop app even if you already have one on the Classic app)
Then, follow these steps:
- Open SongPop Classic
- Log into the account that you want to connect to your SongPop account.
- Go to your profile (top right face icon on the home screen)
- Go to Settings (top right wheel icon on your profile screen)
- Go to "Account Settings"
- Click "Link Account"
This will open the SongPop app.
- Make sure no announcement pop-ups appear when opening the app (like announcing a new festival or monthly pass, announcing a shop promotion, etc)
- If the above occurs, please close the app and return to SongPop Classic and tap "Link Account" again as these pop-ups can interrupt the linking process, causing it to be unsuccessful.
- When the linking pop-up appears (as seen in the screenshots below), check that the 2 accounts that are being connected are the correct ones
- Tap "Let's do it!"
- Your accounts are now synced!
If you do not see the pop-up to complete linking in the new SongPop app, it might be because you haven't completed the tutorial yet. Make sure to complete the tutorial in the new app, go to the home screen of the app, and try again from the first step in SongPop Classic.
If you already have a linked account and are unsure what the login info may be, you can verify by going into Settings > Account Settings. This information can be found in both SongPop and SongPop Classic!
When linking your account the following things are shared between accounts:
- Your equipped frame in SongPop
- Your PLUS subscription purchased in SongPop
- For SongPop players with a subscription originating in Classic, please note that as of January 13, 2023, your subscription will no longer work in both games. If you wish to share your subscription across both games please cancel your Classic subscription and repurchase your subscription in SongPop. The price remains the same on both apps, and your SongPop subscription will work in both SongPop Classic and SongPop.
The following are not shared between your accounts:
- Level
- Monthly pass progress
- Opponents
- Power-ups
- Coin balance
- Ticket Balance
- Playlists
- Fragments from SongPop
- Diamond balance from SongPop
- Vinyls, stickers, and unequipped frames from SongPop
- Badges from SongPop Classic
- Mastery from SongPop Classic
- Classic PLUS subscription
If you wish to unlink your account, please create a support ticket in the app (in Settings > Report issues) and our Support agents will help you unlink your account.
