Agreed; would LOVE to delete playlists that I don't like and will NEVER select again.  Please, make it happen!

It's great to disable playlists that you do not enjoy playing. This is very good. Moreover, the playlists are disabled and not deleted. They still appear as if you had. Consequently, it generates a false compatibility with another opponent.
I hope SongPop do a review about it because it is so good to play with an opponent with a taste very similar to yours.
My suggestion is to delete the playlist and not disable. Or provide both options (delete and/or disable). And to my point of view, the delete option should be more expensive than disable.

Hurray! Only 8 months later, but Yay! V1.8 dropped today. Deactivate a playlist for 100 coins. GONE are Modern Rap, 90's Alternative, and Today's Hits (yes, the first three lists that were included "free" with the game. Better late than never!

omgomgomg!!!! finally!! it had gotten to where i NEVER got an option EVER to play any list I had not finished. I could buy new ones and it would not matter, would just keep getting all three options I'd finished. I hardly ever played anymore b/c there was no point anymore. i like that it deactivates the list and not deletes it, so it won't lose all my progress that i had finished them.

HOORAY!!  Now all Songpop need to do is sort out the issues with some playlists suggested on here.  Disabling (and for only 100 coins) is a briloiant thing and definitely reignited this man's passion for the game.

It took (too) long to get there, but THNX 4 doing this. This clears a lot of clutter and now I can concentrate on the nice playlist and those on which I want achieve 5 stars

I love this idea but really 100 coins and what if I want it back does it charge me to turn it back on? I already paid 399 coins just to play it...I have been wanting this forever....but it's just so I can get stars on my favorite play list not to give you ore money lol

    100 coins to deactivate.
    100 coins to reactivate.
Not complaining here. I'm only deactivating the categories I hate. No intention to ever bring them back.
100 coins is easily accomplished in a week.

Haven't paid for VIP for almost a year now I think, but I just did today. Now if you can just add a ladder ranking system I'd be super happy!

I have been waiting for this for over 7 months. One problem, I can't find this "disable" button to remove unwanted song lists. I went ahead and splurged on coins for money, now all I need is to be able to disable. Anyone out there able to help me?

Their are obviously no songpop personnel monitoring this list or it would be organized so much better, and there would not be so may posts about the same thing which is annoying for those who can't get an answer. There are  a small number of games that volunteers to handle forums, even though they have no say in decisions, but can relay answers to some of the questions and when they see numerous requests for a similar thing, they can bring it to the developers attention.

In addition, there is really no way to find answers to obious questions to things like (example) Classic Rock, is the number of songs infinite or is there a limit of 100, 200 300. if there is a limit, after a while, where the fun in answering the same songs over and over. I am certain no one will answer this, Although songpop is a fun game. it's shortcomings are many and could easily addressed, unless they operate like congress and then.....................................

@ hotmud...to deactivate a song list, click on the gears icon in the upper right section of your screen. Choose profile from there. Then on the left, choose "owned playlists" and scroll to the one you wish to delete and click on it. Where it says activated, click the "on" button. It costs 100 coins to do this deactivation, but you can get rid of them if you want to bad enough. ;)

Computer software is usually patented in a few and not almost all countries, even so, software patents is usually controversial in the software industry together with lots of people holding distinct views over it.
