Still nothing from Songpop, they used to reply to comments but now it seems we are not worthy. My point is this ... i have playlists i don't want, don't like and don't want to use. This is OUR game, we purchased the 'full' game / VIP status and should be able to

    1. delete unwanted playlists

    2. suspend completed playlists but not lose the 5 stars we worked hard to earn

    3. select any of our owned playlist as the next category, if i want to chose one category/playlist to play every time why can't i ?

Does anyone else feel like they are being held to ransom and if you want to shuffle categories you have to use a note to do so ... these things are hard earned and yes i know its what songpop want to do to tempt you to buy more, but they are now ruining the game as i keep getting the playlists I've already completed or if i purchase a new category/playlist sometimes it can be 10 or more games before it comes round again. This is why it would be ideal to suspend completed lists, i don't want to delete completed lists and lose them.

Come on songpop listen to your customers/players ... the option to delete and suspend PLEASE or you'll drive people away !

Actually....I get the impression that rhe SongPop staff is lurking around the forum. Here's why - I submitted my comment as a request and the SongPop people emailed me back asked me to post it in the forum to see what the response is.

Agreed! Back in the day when we couldn't see what songs were on each playlist I purchased a number of playlists and regretted in straight away (such as Indie Rock, Christmas Tunes, 80's Hairbands, Punk, etc.). Being able to delete a playlist - regardless of whether I get the coins back or not (I really don't care, I've got too many atm anyway!) - would be exceptionally helpful! Then I can actually get to play more playlists that I genuinely want to play without having to use power ups to shuffle them!

We need to be able to delete some playlists. I don't like wasting time on crappy lists I bought. Takes the fun out of the game

I agree, I would dearly love to delete some playlists that I did not choose -they were given to me when I first started playing SongPop. I would even be willing to pay the coins for purchasing a Song List for the privilege of deleting the lists! 399 coins or whatever! It would definitely make the game more fun for me. Please do consider this! I have been a pretty diehard fan of this game, even though most of my friends have quit playing. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

I would love to be able to erase playlists. I listened to the samples of songs on each playlist before purchasing them, so I have no quarrel with those. What I don't like is the "filler junk" that was preloaded into my playlist. The intention is to get you to use more powerups to get to lists you chose, which takes several each time, therefore necessitating the purchase of more powerups with money, since you'll never earn enough coins as stingy as therly are with them. Can you imagine, I have 8 purchased playlists, yet I have to use 3-4 powerups to flip thru to get to a single choice! And, the " crap" fillers will show up more than once! If the is another forum where I can be sure the developers and/ or owners would be sure to see my complaints, would someone please list the address.

There was a time when you might buy playlists accidentally by tapping a frozen screen just as it changed. I bought Eurovision, glee, Bollywood and pro wrestling this way. I don't play them and would like to get rid of them. I am baffled that people think we should have to pay coins to remove lists we have already paid for. I'd think you'd want a refund on the rubbish ones, I know I would....

You really should put in a feature to where you can delete playlists that you no longer want! I myself have bought some playlists that i really don't like and i really would like to delete them! I don't understand why this is still an issue and why you haven't fixed this problem yet! There are lot's of comments on here from people saying the same thing and still nothing has been done on your end to rectify the situation!!!!

I'm not ready to gather more coins just because I accidently purchased a list I don't want... and would you mind asking the player for confirmation if they want to really purchase a list or not!!

and just to let you know... I will no longer play Songpop until you fix this, because I'm REALLY REALLY mad!!

Still no option to suspend completed playlists or delete unwanted ones ... another pointless update today which now shows us the weeks new playlists (some of which are absolute crap and contain half the songs of other playlist already availble)

The game is now becoming a drag with all my completed playlists turning up time and time again and new or unfinished ones hardly coming round ... a ploy to get us to but more shuffle n remove notes ... not going to happen Songpop people. Give us this option and make the game fun and open again please

Well, i'm up to 3,958 coins and 101 powerups, not even really tempted to try any of these new playlists because I know i won't be able to get rid of them if I don't like them. Really kinda getting bored with this game. I still win 95% of my matches.

It's pointless ... They don't listen despite saying they do !! More interested in making money out of the loyal players who made this game what it 'was' !!

Seriously, either make it possible to check what the title means, or make it possible to DELETE.  I purchased Dancehall, thinking it would be 40-60 dance music.  Instead it's some current, VERY crappy playlist!

We should not be having to plea or beg for this. It should be an in game option...period! It's a ploy by the designers as they know new players will always strive to expand their setlists (as I once did) to enable them to get better results, but in fact it does the opposite. Your genre is the key to acheiving in this game, but you do not know that when you start so you are stuck with "free" Billy Joel or Modern Wrap. The more of these you get the harder it is for you to acheive your goals......unless you pay $$$$. Has a Songpop person actualy replied to any of the requests I see here?

The Songpop players need to evolve, to continue in mastering favorite playlists... but to have the chance to discover and learn with new ones... now, everyone has a terrible fear of purchasing new lists and become attached forever... everyone is willing to spend coins for release.... COINS FOR FREEDOM!

I agree with the sentiment of the others here in this section. I have been playing for a long time now, and I’d like to have the ability to select or de-select music categories, or delete certain categories permanently from my list of categories. I have so many now, that even if I shuffle several times, I still sometimes don’t find a category I want to use for a challenge. I’m pretty sure it pisses people off to have to spend coins for nothing. It gives the game a negative feeling. You can waste 5-6 coins trying to find the categories I want to use for a challenge. It's like... the more you have, the less choice you get. I have purchased some categories that I don’t really want to see again, (i.e. Glee) and I think it would benefit your business if people could have more freedom to delete or deactivate categories..

In summary: If the list of category choices could be narrowed down it would make the game more fun.

I currently have 123 playlists.  None of the new ones I purchase ever come up.  This is getting boring.  Please give us the option to remove purchased playlists.  This is getting really annoying.

I think the developers are holding on to this feature so they can sell more coins. It costs one coin to shuffle the playlists. In order to battle this, just stop shuffling. Use what you get. That's what I always do now. I never shuffle. I don't want to play into their hands. If the shuffle payments drop to zero, there will be no more reason to deny us our freedom of choice.
