An idea, maybe it' has been already given, is to resell the playlist we Don't want anymore, at half the price for example

Or allow us to TRADE a playlist for a reduced rate. ie: Give us 100 coins credit if we "turn in" a playlist. Then we can buy one we like more.

It's really unfair to prevent users who have Premium version to delete their purchased playlists.

I'm totally down to pay 249-399 coins for every playlist I want to delete - like the ones you've started me with!
Screw Modern Rap, screw Love Songs, screw '80s Collection.
I'd pay to get rid of them.

Why sont you answer these questions instead of listing them. I am searching for anther music game. You have too many unrolled issues. At least say something about the issues. I feel like starting one myself. You run things badly. Another issue many must have is when you get enough for a star in the middle of a game, it automatically marks the song you are on wrong . Why? So stupid.

This should be obvious.  No need to refund coins, just let us unclutter our own list of genres.  If worried about competitive balance, just make sure that there are a minimum number of playlists active at all times.

You people are totally ignoring that the game is providing an income for some people and some of the things suggested here would simply not be in their best interests.
I completely agree however that we should get more info on what playlists contain, a small description/featured artists etc

Yes please allow us to delete playlists we don't want, including those that came free, like modern rap. It's irritating to challenge someone with playlists of songs one is not familiar with.

Please let me delete playlists which I do not like (anymore). Now I get these lists passing by as a option, whereas I never will play them. Set up rules. I don't care. Charge coins. Please do. But for @&¥# sake let me erase playlists!!!!!!!!!!!

100% agree. It should not be difficult to delete an unwanted playlist. Am prepared to forfeit the coins paid. I bought 80s Hairbands thinking it was Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, etc. how wrong and disappointed was I? Will never play that list as I don't know the artists.

I bought a lot of playlists a couple months ago, before you could listen to the songs in them first (new feature). I got things such as reggaeton, Eurovision, funk Carioca. To check them out, because I'm a music lover. But those, and several other playlists, are arguably terrible. Now, I have to pay valuable coins to "shuffle playlists", or I'm forced to play these abominations. I mean seriously, you're not gonna know say, the songs in Funk Carioca, unless you live(d) in a Brazilian ghetto at some point. Is this fair? Let us cancel playlists! If you must, make it so you can repurchase them for free or less (or same price). But let us delete these playlists if we want!

Martin, I'd love to hear how being able to delete/disable a purchased playlist would be hindering their ability to make a living on the game?  If anything, the lack of this ability is more likely to drive players away.

I would willingly pay to get rid of some of my playlists, then nobody will lose out. Songpop will lose out if they don't listen to their customers. I am so fed up with having things on my playlist I don't want i will evetually stop plying .

Would it be possible to 'hide' selected playlists like 'Christmas Tunes' that we don't want to play? That way, we can continue playing the categories we really love. Unfortunately, I purchased two categories of Christmas songs which turned out to be ridiculously similar and now, here in January, they are often two of the selection of three I have to choose from in the challenges. I would love to jettison them to a vault somewhere.

i hear some people say that this function would cost songpop money (or maybe I got that wrong), but I don't believe that. if you got a playlist you never ever use, how would songpop make money on it? as long as they don't make money on it, they also can't lose profit by adding this very very wanted feature.

Songpop does make money off this. When you want to shuffle playlists, you must use a power up. And power ups cost gold coins. And gold coins cost real money to purchase. With that being said, I do think it is ridiculous to make money this way. You make money by introducing new, useful features that people won't mind paying for. Making money by making customers pay money to get around the weaknesses of a feature that is cumbersome, inconvenient and desperately needs improvement, is bad business and not conducive for customer retention. The desire to generate revenue without paying heed to customer complaints is a short term business view that won't will cost you customers in the long run.

Absolutely agree. Probably the best way might be not to delete playlists from your personal "repertoire" but a way to "hide" playlists, at least if you have reached a certain amount of lists. I have more than 50 by now and of coures I have bought some that turned out not to be what I expected them to be. On the other hand there are playlists I like very much but nevertheless I don't like to play them right now - because I have five stars already and I want to reach more stars in other ones. So why not a possibility to limit your number of playlists if they exceed a certain amount (instead of deleting them completely)? Of course the limit must be quite high, lets say 30 or whatever - just to make sure no "specialist" can use rap or country etc. playlists only. This would also be a little reward for players who are interested in a lot of different kinds of music and therefore buy many playlists. Right now you are better off just to buy playlists you are specialized in, because if you have a smaller number of playlists it is much more likely you get one of them and in a way you are punished for buying a larger number of playlists because every new playlist reduces the probability that an old one (you particularly like) will turn up. In fact that cannot be what Songpop intends to, right? So give us the possibility to limit our number of playlists!

Seeing the same disliked playlists popping up really puts a damper on the fun of the game. If we could delete unwanted playlists, I'm sure many of us would play more often and purchase additional playlists. Thank you.

but the solution is to close the game when there is a playlist you don't want, and to open it again. (work with iphone)

We should be able to hide/delete playlist we have completed so we can continue on with ones we haven't completed and just purchased.  I am tired of have choices of the 3 playlists I have completed and I am going through coins like crazy shuffling through playlists.  I refuse to buy anymore coins to do this, it seems the more I shuffle the more I get finished playlists. If they don't do something soon I will move onto other games exactly like this with more options.  There are many games exactly like this on the net. SongPop is nice as we don't have to leave our FB to go play it!  Come on SongPop start listening to what your players want and quit changing things up so much.  I will no longer purchase VIP status as you have taken away everything I purchased it for!

Definitely agree we should be able to edit/delete playlist we don't want or have been given from the start... And the facility to hide or suspend playlists we have completed... drives me crazy having to play lists i've already done or know nothing about (modern rap... sorry crap, christian gospel, wwf enterances etc) not my thing but ruining my enjoyment. Give us the chance to be individual not stuck with things we dont want ! Time to search out other gameslike this one with more options

I accidentally purchased a playlist when I was going to click "Shuffle playlist" there was a link above it  for "Rap UK" and my pointer wasn't all the way on the 'shuffle playlist button!! It ddn't even ask me to confirm the purchase first so I could of kept it from happening.. I was saving up to buy "heavy metal" and just made enough for it this morning.. now I"m stuck with Rap?? ugh.. hope y'all can add a way to delete the playlists or sell them back.. have to use too many shuffles when you have too many playlists too

People who keep saying that they have no idea what is on a Playlist are being clueless. SongPop lets you see the songs that are on the list. Also quit complaining about special lists. There are plenty of people who like them - like me. But, I do want to get rid of my Christmas tunes list. Also, you don't have to spend money to get coins. You get 3 for each win and one for each loss. Plus for each player you beat, you get those other tokens. I have over 20 of them right now and I use them from time time.
