    Yes please!!!
Everything he said for starters, but also Tangerine Dream, Amon Duul II, Cluster, Harmonia, Popol Vuh, Agitation Free, Ash Ra Tempel, Brainticket, Xhol Caravan... so much more too!

  • Simon

Yes, yes, yes!!!  Please don't ignore such a vital and influential genre in favour of so much more of the same that we are seeing on Songpop!

  • DarknessFish

Definitely needed. It seems that the developers have run out of ideas, yet there's a massively important genre missing here. No Radiohead though, whassat all about?

  • Muso Geek

More support please people!  Shoegaze exists, but not this!!

  • Steven Watson

Hawkwind, La Dusseldorf, Michael Rother, Manuel Göttsching, Moebius & Plank, A.R. & Machines, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft [DAF], Magma, Gong, Steve Hillage, Conrad Schnitzler, Klaus Schulze, Roedelius, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, Pink Fairies, Stereolab.   This playlist would send Songpop into Interstellar Overdrive!

  • DarknessFish

Come on, Songpop, sort yourself out. It's one of the most important movements of the last 50 years. Call it Kosmiche if you worried about the implications of 'kraut'.

  • Leandro S

Absolutely needed, krautrock is one of the most influencial genres in history of rock music. Without artists like Popol Vuh, Kraftwerk, Can, Tangerine Dream, Faust, Amon Duul II, Klaus Schulze, NEU! and so on movements like the New Wave would never have born.

I agree with DarknessFish, you can call it "kosmische musik" if you want. But the playlist is ABSOLUTELY needed.

    Wake up guys!

  • drij

This has been my "must have" playlist for a while now. Seeing prog-rock and post-punk get added gave me hope, but here I am still waiting!

Such an important genre! Bring it on!
  • Steven Watson

    Yes please.

  • Yasu Kondo
    There should be this playlist.
  • drij

Years have gone by and still no Krautrock playlist. What gives? How are there TWO French rock playlists and even a Polish rock playlist but nothing from pioneering, brilliant German rock bands.
