It would definitely be great to have a cartoon playlist in songpop.
Different intro pieces of different cartoons.
A mix of these three sections would be a great idea:
1. New Cartoons like -Spongebob Squarepants etc. (maybe others from nickelodeon)
2. Disney Cartoons, (Not Films) like Chip and Dale or the Gummi Bears
3. Anime Intros like One Piece or Pokemon

It may be debated whether the anime introductions should be in their dubbed or original (generally Japanese) versions.

I think they should be dubbed to keep the playlist consistent, they also don't stand out then, and its easier to guess them.

I had the same idea!! It would be awesome a cartoon playlist specially from the 80's like He-Man, Thundercats, The Get Along Gang, Gummi Bears, Jem and the Holograms, etc
Also anime songs shouldn't be dubbed...Most of anime fans already know the original versions.I don't know how famous "super sentai" series was around the world but where I'm from we had lots in the 80's like Jaspion, Changeman, Jiraya, Flashman, Cyber Cops, etc...And they have awesome intro songs too!

I thinks it's better to have the dubbed versions (would be very glad if they just take the idea :D), just for more fairness in guessing and to have a "unique" list, though I also know the original ones.
Never heard of super sentai :/
I thought about stuff like Spongebob Squarepants, Cosmo & Wanda, Danny Phantom, Avatar, Fillmore, Futurama, Simpsons etc.
Then things like Gummi Bears, Mickey Mouse &co, Tom and Jerry, Chip & Chap,
And then One Piece, Detectiv Conan, Pokemon, Teen Titans, Dragonball, Inu Yasha, Naruto etc. This ones would be great, and to take this idea would be awesome.0 -
Power Rangers is the american version of super sentai lol Super Hero live action =)
Anyway, this is a great idea and would make an awesome playlist! I hope more people vote!!

Catdog
Courage The Cowerdly Dog
Scooby Doo
Rocket Power
etc.

the cartoon and the anime should have separated playlist not all together, and the anime playlist should be in their original soundtrack
most see them in their original, which is better than dubbed, and most anime fans are not from the same country so having it dubbed it would be only one sided advantage.

I think it should be one playlist cause i didn't expect you can get a thousands of playlist here, whatever you suggest.
And still think they should be dubbed, I already told why, dubbed in English of course, still everybody will understand, I'm not American or from UK either.

Cartoons playlist should be separate from Anime playlist.

Yeah I agree with anime having it's own playlist and not be dubbed...Like Yuri said, there're anime fans all over the world. I'm from Brazil and now live in USA and I watched DBZ in both languages and each of them have their own versions of the songs. Well, actually I didn't see any intro song in the american version they simply made some guitar sounds which sucks since the intro song is amazing! Anyway, if people like anime obviously they'll know the original songs so there's no reason why it should be dubbed =)

Not just cartoon theme songs. You also need to include music from song-heavy shows like Animaniacs and Phineas and Ferb.
